Tie-in Works to be Implemented on Akhalkalaki Branch of Tsiteli Khidi-Tsalka-Alastani Gas Pipeline

Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) has completed the construction of 6 km section of DN 300 Akhalkalaki branch of Tsiteli Khidi-Tsalka-Alastani high pressure gas pipeline. Tie-in works to the existing pipeline will be carried out in Akhalkalaki Today.
Georgian Gas Transportation Company will carry out the tie-in works on the gas pipeline.
GOGC has replaced DN 300 mm polyethylene pipes on Akhalkalaki branch of Tsiteli Khidi-Tsalka-Alastani high pressure gas pipeline by metal pipes of the same diameter which will ensure high pressure has supply to Akhalkalaki during the cold winter period.
Construction works were implemented by a tender winning company "Rapid Engineering & Construction" Ltd.
Total length of Tsiteli Khidi-Tsalka-Alastani main gas pipeline is 195 km.
