SARMATIA announced the tender for the preparation of „The Feasibility Study of the Euro-Asian Oil Transportation Corridor Project"

The Management Board of the International Pipeline Company "SARMATIA" Sp. z o.o. (limited liability company) with its registered seat in Warsaw, Poland, hereby issues this open request for proposals to all qualified entities interested in taking part in the tender for the preparation of „The Feasibility Study of the Euro-Asian Oil Transportation Corridor Project".
SOCAR, GOGC, AB "Klaipedos Nafta", PERN "Przyjaźń" S.A. and JSC "Ukrtransnafta" companies in the presence of the Presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Poland and Ukraine have expressed their interest in drawing up the feasibility study for the creation of a commercially attractive corridor for the transportation of hydrocarbons from the Caspian Sea Region to the international markets running through the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and the Republic of Poland by concluding the Agreement on accession to MPR "SARMATIA" Sp. z o.o. (the 10th of October, 2007, Vilnius Energy Summit).
Based on results of the feasibility study the parties will carry on the further steps in order to establish the aforementioned Corridor, which is crucial for the diversification, safety and security of crude oil supplies.
The overall cost of the feasibility studies' preparation shouldn't exceed the amount of USD 2 000 000 (VAT inclusive).
