International Conference in Baku

Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation participated in the 15th International Exhibition and Conference - Caspian Oil and Gas 2008, organized by Iteca Caspian, held in Baku on 3-6 June. GOGC also participated as one of the exhibitors of the showcase with its own display stand.
This year the number of participants who attended the exhibition increased by 12% - 380 companies from 33 countries.
As President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev declared at the conference, Azerbaijan is the first country in the region that manages to develop its energy sector and at the same time to ensure not only its own energy security, but of other countries as well.
Transportation of Azerbaijan gas to European markets, engagement in NABUCCO project and Odessa-Brody-Gdansk project were the top issues discussed at the conference.
