GOGC has constructed a new Telavi-Akhmeta section of Kakheti main gas pipeline

JSC "Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation" has completed construction of Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km section of Kakheti main gas pipeline.
Construction of DN 300 mm gas pipeline was carried out by the tender winner, the Georgian company – "Rapid Engineering and Construction" LLC.
The main gas pipeline Kakheti branch rehabilitation second stage works were finalized by construction of the new Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km section. As a result of the project, DN 200 mm amortized pipes built on the damaged section of the gas pipeline in 1976 were replaced by new DN 300 mm pipes. The new pipeline will significantly improve uninterrupted gas supply of Kakheti region.
The cost of construction is 2 493 483 GEL (exclusive of the cost of pipes and other construction materials).
