Air pipeline is being built on the Mtkvari aimed to technically diversify gas supply system

The construction works are financed by GOGC and fulfilled by Gas Transportation Company, a subsidiary of GOGC.
New piles and 1, 3 km long air pipe on the river Mtkvari have already been placed. The construction will complete at the beginning of December and then the air pipeline will be connected to a newly built 30km long Gardabani-Navtlughi section of the main gas pipeline.
In parallel GGTC is carrying out rehabilitation works on existing air pipeline on the river Mtkvari.
