Employees of GOGC Planted Tree Seedlings in the Yard of Beretisa Village School

Employees of GOGC planted tree seedlings of various species suited to local climatic conditions in the yard of the public school in the village of Beretisa, Chiatura Municipality. The greening area was determined considering the wishes of the local self-government and the population.

This activity is related to the project planned by GOGC - the construction of a new 36-kilometer "Khashuri-Zestaphoni" section of the East-West Main Gas Pipeline.

Alongside the implementation of energy projects, GOGC places special importance on environmental issues and, to this end, regularly carries out greening activities in the areas adjacent to its operations, which contributes to the restoration of green cover and the maintenance of ecological balance.

The greening campaign was held on the initiative of the General Director, Ekaterine Sisauri. In addition to GOGC management and employees, the Mayor of Chiatura Municipality, Givi Modebadze, local residents, and schoolchildren participated in the event.
