Ekaterine Sisauri Participated in Green Energy Corridor's 11th Ministerial

Ekaterine Sisauri, General Director of GOGC, participated in the 11th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Corridor hosted by Georgia. The Ministerial was held with participation of representatives from Azerbaijan, Romania, and Hungary, and was opened by Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The Ministerial served the four partner countries' common vision of creating a sustainable and energy-secure future. The Georgian delegation's objective was to deepen cooperation to ensure the country's energy independence and energy security.

The discussion highlighted the steps required for the development of green energy. Georgia's role as a reliable and proactive partner in implementing the Green Energy Corridor agreement was acknowledged. The country firmly supports the Corridor's vision, which significantly contributes to the European Green Deal and the shared goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
