Training On Environmental Protection And Occupational Safety Held in GOGC

Before the implementation of Adigeni Goderdzi Gas pipeline rehabilitation-construction project, GOGC held training for the representatives of contractor company. Head of the Environmental Protection Assessment and Monitoring Unit, Ms Gvantsa Janikashvili along with the company representatives assessed environmental risks that JSC GPC may encounter during gas pipeline construction.
Head of Occupational Safety Unit, Nika Kharaishvili focused on the issues related to legal acts, hazard identification and risk assessment. The contractors also got familiar with the measures to be taken in case of emergency at construction site.
Besides the representative of the contractor company, the employees of Construction Supervision Department of GOGC also attended the training. During construction works they will supervise fulfilment of all the obligation that are envisaged by legislation on the occupational safety and environmental protection.
