Today the launch meeting was held with the representatives of underground gas storage facility pre-construction design bidding winner company Ramboll Oil & Gas in hotel Marriot Tbilisi.
The meeting was attended by Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, MCG, Ramboll Oil & Gas and its contractor company KBB managers, and also Georgian, Danish and German experts.
Companies Ramboll Oil & Gas and KBB made presentations at the meeting. Director of Ramboll Project Niels Ringe introduced the participants to design, research plan and methodology of the gas storage facility.
The contract on implementation of underground gas storage facility pre-construction design works was signed between company Ramboll Oil & Gas and MCG on December 29.2009. $3,4 million contract encompasses implementation of underground gas storage facility pre-construction design works, that comprises the full analysis and research of a full technical, geological, environmental, economical, financial, legislative and other relevant issues necessary for construction of the underground gas storage facility in Georgia. The works will continue for 12 months.
The management and supervisions of pre-construction design works of gas storage facility will be implemented by GOGC.
