Director General of GOGC Inspects Ongoing Operations at Ninotsminda Field

Ekaterine Sisauri, Director General of GOGC, accompanied by executive management, inspected ongoing drilling operations at Ninotsminda oil field in village Patardzeuli, Sagarejo Municipality.

During the visit, Ms. Sisauri received a detailed operational briefing on the project’s progress and key implementation phases directly from the technical specialists managing the site.

Drilling within the license area is being executed by Ninotsminda Oil Company under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the State. The initiative focuses on enhancing crude oil recovery at Well N4.

Following water influx in the well’s original horizontal sidetrack, a replacement section was drilled in a different direction. The application of advanced horizontal drilling technology enables more effective exploitation of oil-bearing layers and maximizes overall field recovery.
