GOGC commences construction of “Adigeni-Goderdzi” gas pipeline

GOGC has commenced construction of a new, 33 km "Adigeni-Goderdzi" gas pipeline.
Topsoil has been removed on the DN 300 mm gas pipeline construction site, pipes have been placed and their welding process has begun.
The pipeline construction works will be performed by the winner of the tender announced by GOGC – "GPC" LLC.
Finalization of works is planned by the end of 2019.
Construction of the high pressure gas pipeline "Adigeni-Goderdzi" is one of the significant projects for development of Georgia and the high mountain zone of Adjara.
Goderdzi resort zone has never had any alternative source of gas supply.
As a result of the project implementation, the high mountain resorts – Goderdzi and Beshumi will receive natural gas, which will facilitate development of resort infrastructure in the region.
