“Rapid Engineering & Construction” Will Build DN 300 Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km Section of Kakheti Main Gas Pipeline

Georgian company – “Rapid Engineering & Construction” will construct-rehabilitate DN 300 Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km Section of Kakheti main gas pipeline.
The company won an electronic tender announced by Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) on May 11, 2016. The contract with the tender-winning company has already been signed. Under the contract the company shall complete the construction of the gas pipeline by February 2017. The cost of the construction-rehabilitation of the segment totals to GEL 2 120 000 excluding VAT.
Construction of the new DN 300 Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km Section pipeline is planned as part of the second stage of the rehabilitation works of Kakheti main gas pipeline. After completion of the project, damped DN 200 pipes built in 1976 will completely be replaced.
