Preparatory Works For Construction Of Kutaisi-Abasha 47km Section StartedThe company that won the tender for the construction of the Kutaisi –Abasha 47 km section of the main gas pipeline has started preparatory works. Top soil along the Kutaisi-Abasha 47km section right of way has been removed and pipes have been delivered to the site.
A joint enterprise of Sakmilmsheni and PVI ZIT Naftogazbudizolyatsia will implement the construction works for the Kutaisi-Abasha 47km section of the main gas pipeline.
The construction of Kutaisi-Abasha 47 km section of the main gas pipeline is funded by the USAID and implemented by GOGC under III stage of East-West Main Gas Pipeline Rehabilitation Program.
