Damage Liquidated On The Main Gas Pipeline

Some unidentified people attempted to steal pipes of the main gas pipeline.
On October 7, some unidentified people attempted to steal pipes on the 98-kilometer section of the Tbilisi-Sukhumi gas pipeline. During the attempt the pipe was under pressure and it lead to fire.
The employees of the operator of the gas pipeline - Gas Transportation Company of Georgia, worked hard to liquidate the damage.
Repair works have been completed. The incident did not create any problems to natural gas delivery to Zugdidi population.
