JSC Namakhvani HPPs Cascade selected 25 companies through pre-qualification process

JSC Namakhvani HPPs Cascade has completed an expression of interest/pre-qualification process for the construction of Namakhvani hydro power plants on the Rioni River.
The company has revealed 25 participants who successfully underwent the prequalification process.
Selected companies will participate in the tender for the purchase of engineering, procurement and construction services for Namakhvani HPPs Cascade. JSC Namakhvani HPP Cascade will reveal the winner.
Expression of interest on EPC services for Namakvani HPPs was announced on February 4, 2012.
Namakhvani HPP Cascade envisages the construction of a cascade with installed capacity of 450 MW on Rioni River, Western Georgia. The cascade is located in the mountainous region of Georgia, in the north-western area of the country, between the existing Lajanuri and Gumati HPPs.
