In the year 2010 through the oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Cheyhan (BTC) the transit of 38.379 million tons of Azerbaijanian crude oil was accomplished. In 2009 the same indicator made up 38,271 million tons.
By the West Route Export Oil Pipeline (WREP) in 2010 3.985 million tons of oil was transported to Supsa Terminal. In 2009 the volume of oil, transported by the above route, was 4.487 million tons.

In the opinion of the experts of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, the decrease of oil transit was caused by economic crisis and the reduction of requirement on oil products in Central Europe.
