Restoration of gas supply to Gori will start today

Gas supply to the town of Gori will be restored today. Employees of GOGC subsidiary Georgian gas transportation Company and local gas distribution companies inspected the conditions of gas distribution network in the town to prevent gas leak on the pipe, damaged after the explosion.
The Energy Ministry representatives declared today that gas supply will be restored to 7 thousand families and in the next few days the rest of the consumers will receive gas too.
Gori gas has about 13, ooo consumers. GOGC requests Gori population to keep the valves closed when the gas flow is restored.
