GOGC Celebrates Georgia's Independence Day in Telavi
GOGC, alongside fellow energy companies, marked Georgia's Independence Day with a special public celebration in the city of Telavi.
Citizens were welcomed at the central square, where a dedicated exhibition space brought together installations, scale models, and informational displays highlighting key projects delivered by the energy sector in recent years, along with educational and interactive zones designed for younger visitors. The exhibition offered attendees an engaging look at the sector's achievements, as well as its ongoing and planned initiatives for the future.
The event was honored by the presence of Deputy Ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development, Inga Pkhaladze and Vakhtang Tsintsadze, State Governor of the Kakheti Region, Platon Kalmakhelidze, GOGC General Director, Ekaterine Sisauri, and senior leaders from across the energy industry.
This year's Independence Day carries exceptional significance. May 26, 2026 coincides with a landmark in Georgia's spiritual history - the 1,700th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity as the state religion.
"For 1,700 years, faith has strengthened us - love unites us."
GOGC extends its warmest congratulations to Georgia on Independence Day!
