Gas distribution station opened in Gardabani

Gas distribution station opened in Gardabani today. In the framework of the gas distribution station rehabilitation project, regulators, filters, valves and meters have been replaced. After the rehabilitation works are complete wholesale consumers will receive natural gas through diversified routes.The rehabilitation of the gas distribution station was funded by GOGC.

After commercial diversification of natural gas, technical diversification was also necessary to ensure stable gas supply. This was the main reason for the rehabilitation of the regulation station.

Gardabani station distributes gas imported from Russia, Azerbaijan as well as from the Shah-Deniz gas field. The station enables delivering natural gas to the customers either by these three sources separately or jointly.

The distribution station will provide stable and uninterrupted supply of gas to the thermo electric power stations located in the region.
