Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km section of Kakheti main gas pipeline
In 2017, JSC "Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation" constructed Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km section of Kakheti main gas pipeline.
Construction of DN 300 mm gas pipeline was carried out by the tender winning Georgian company – "Rapid Engineering and Construction" LLC.
The construction of the new Telavi-Akhmeta 27 km section pipeline finalized the second stage of rehabilitation works of the main gas pipeline Kakheti branch. As a result of the project implementation, DN 200 mm amortized pipes built in 1976 were replaced by new DN 300 mm pipes. The new pipeline will significantly improve uninterrupted gas supply of Kakheti region.
