A new gas distribution station built in Rustavi
The station equipped with modern standards, built by GOGC, which will provide gas supply to the city of Rustavi, was put into operation.
A new gas distribution station built with GOGC investment in the amount of more than 8 million GEL will significantly improve the quality of continuity and reliability of natural gas supply to 130 000 residents and large enterprises of Rustavi, will minimize losses and risk of emergencies.
The city of Rustavi consumes 65 thousand cubic meters of gas in total, including 15 thousand cubic meters consumed by population and 50 thousand cubic meters consumed by large commercial plants, such as: Rustavi Metallurgical Plant, Rustavi Azot and HeidelbergCement.
Construction works of the gas distribution station were carried out by the Italian tender winner company "Forain Srl".
Construction of a new gas distribution station in Rustavi began in spring 2019 and was finalized at the agreed time in December. Until that time, natural gas was supplied to Rustavi population and enterprises through an obsolete gas distribution station built in 1959.
