Abasha-Senaki
The construction of DN700 Abasha-Senaki 29km section of the main gas pipeline was implemented within the East- West Main gas Pipeline rehabilitation program.
Construction works started in summer 2012 and has been completed in spring 2013. Construction works of Abasha-Senaki section were carried out by the international tender-winner Azerbaijani company Neftgastikint.
The Abasha-Senaki 29km section of the high pressure main gas pipeline is significant in terms of facilitating secure gas supply to the population of Georgia. The project was funded by the United Stated Agency for International Development (USAID).
