Power generation/supply is a relatively new direction of GOGC activities.
GOGC started power generation in 2015 when the construction of the first power plant in Gardabani was completed and launched.
The generated electricity is supplied to the wholesale energy market for distribution companies like JSC Telasi, JSC Kakheti Distribution and others.
Considering effective and efficient operation of the power plant, GOGC made an investment to construct the second power plant in Gardabani. The power plant was completed and launched in 2020.
